Meet Holly Mihelic
Leadership, empowerment and engagement have always been a strength and interest of mine. As a sophomore at Michigan State University, I launched the first digital women’s magazine on campus. This was before news was widely available on the internet and was still during the “pre-influencer” era. My professors thought I was crazy, but I had a vision and a plan!
I taught myself how to code and went on to create a network that housed over 40 staffed writers and photographers with thousands of readers per our bi-weekly issue. Ten years later, it’s still my mission to connect and empower like-minded, yet uniquely gifted individuals through the power of messaging, pitching and relationship building.
I am particularly passionate about working with female leaders and entrepreneurs or women who are aspiring to step into leadership positions. A workplace poll that was conducted on more than 2,000 U.S. adults in 2017 revealed that “50% of people (broken down to 55% of women and 46% of men) say they would prefer to work at a female-led company over a male-led company.” And yet… women only make up 5% of the leaders within Fortune 500 companies. Through developing the right skills of personable influence, energy management and power priming, my goal is to help as many female professionals as possible actualize their goals.
I’ve helped previous clients negotiate raises, carve out their own dream role within their existing company and startup their own businesses ranging from freelance marketing to coaching to eCommerce. Through Soul of Business, I’ve assisted in developing company-wide culture transformations and leadership assessment and growth discoveries.
I’m excited to strategize, build and execute your visions and aspirations with you. Let’s get to work!
